The Eotech 516 offers a powerful yet compact package designed for AR15, M16 and M4 rifles with rails. The 516.A65/1 sight is similar to the 511 sight, but with important differences.

First, the control buttons are placed on the side of the sight, allowing you to more naturally make adjustments while keeping your rifle shouldered. The side control buttons also make using the sight easier when combined with magnifiers or other accessories.

Secondly, a portion of the front of the base of the EOTech 516 sits 7 millimeters higher, permitting you to attach the sight over the handguard of M4 and AR15/M16 fifles. (See photo)

Also, the body of the 516 sight is shorter than that of the 517, meaning that you can mount more accessories on a shorter rail.

Thirty brightness levels ensure proper brightness control in either low light or very bright sunlight. An on-board microprocessor provides automatic battery check indicator, up/down brightness scrolling and programmable auto shutdown features. All electronics are fully encapsulated in shock absorbing resin compound.
