BUSHMASTER V MATCH CARBINE
This Bushmaster model combines the versatility of the “flat-top” sight platform with the accuracy of a heavy, chrome lined, 16" free floating barrel. The handguard is Bushmaster's aluminum V Match style in a shorter length which reduces the carbine's overall weight and offers excellent balance. The heavy barrel, with chrome lined bore and chamber, provides exceptional accuracy for its length and is externally manganese phosphate finished for corrosion and rust protection - as are all steel parts of the weapon. The V Match “flat-top" upper receiver offers a Weaver rail (Picatinny type) platform to which you can mount the sight, scope, laser or night vision device of your choice. The front sight base is available in either a milled style with no sight post (shown) or the full post type Barrels are available in either full heavy or the optional fluted configuration. The forged, lightweight 7075T6 aircraft quality aluminum receivers have all M16A2 design improvements including cartridge case deflector, last round bolt hold-open, reinforcement areas around the front pivot pin and buffer tube, and raised ridges for magazine release button protection. The XM15 E2S V Match Carbine is shipped in a Bushmaster hard plastic carrying case complete with 10 round magazine, instructional manual and web sling.
