BUSHMASTER SUPERLIGHT WITH STUBBY STOCK
This is the lightest carbine in the Bushmaster line, featuring the Chrome Lined Super Light 16" Barrel, which is turned from .670” to .600” diameter under the hand guard, .625” diameter under the sight base, and .570” diameter out to the muzzle. This slim profile barrel with the short “Stubby” Stock makes a sweet handling, easy to shoot carbine. Rifling is 1 turn in 9", right hand twist, six lands and grooves. A manganese phosphate finish is applied to the barrels as well as all other critical steel parts of the weapon for excellent protection against corrosion and rust. It is available in either A2 Sor A3 Removable Carry Handle configurations. The M16A2 sight system, with dual flip-up aperture is designed for either short range shots at moving targets or long distance accuracy, and offers 1 Minute of Adjustment for elevation (windage is 1/2 M.o.A.). The A3 type Carbine includes Bushmaster’s Removable Carry Handle (sights in these handles are 1/2 Minute of Adjustment - windage and elevation). Hand guards, butt stocks, and pistol grips on the Bushmaster Super Lights are molded of black thermoset polymer. The Stubby Style butt stock - designed originally for body armored Law Enforcement officer use - is 3.25" shorter and .47 lbs. lighter than the Fixed Tele-Style stock. Forged, 7075T6 aircraft quality aluminum receivers feature cartridge case deflector, last round bolt hold-open and raised protection ribs around the magazine release button. They are finished with a hard black anodize and nickel acetate seal coating. The Bushmaster Super Light Carbines are shipped in foam lined; lockable hard cases complete with Black Web Sling, 10 Round Magazine, Operating and Safety Instruction Manual.
