After thirty years of operating a high quality collector's gun shop as the Yankee Armorer in Mahwah, NJ, I opened a second shop in Sloatsburg NY. Soon you will see what is probably the last link in the chain, our new website, something that my customers have been asking me to do for several years. As usual I will be selling guns typically in the $495. to $20,000.range, and will be doing everthing possible to stick to our reputation for high quality at very reasonable prices. We will continue to buy single pieces or full collections, and again, honesty and fair prices is our objective. I always have over three hundred collectible firearms with large selections from the civil war right up to the end of WW II. I'm the older guy you see with the pretty lady (Lise) at the shows anywhere from Virginia to Mass.. Usually with the five tables of Civil War to 1945 military and civilian weapons of every kind. The NJ store is still called The Yankee Armorer, while our Sloatsburg, NY store is the U.S. Gun Exchange. Our shops are referred to by many as the "The gun collector's candy stores. We have substantial quantities of Lugers, P-38s, Walthers, Sauers and Mausers. Nazi marked occupation guns, Brownings, Femarus, Radoms (some Eagles), and a variety of Webleys, Nambus, Steyrs, Berettas and French guns. Our U.S. guns include a great selection of 1911-1911 A1s, Military Colts and S & Ws, Colt General Officers pistols and US Military weapons back to the civil war. With a nce selection of unusual handguns from all over the world. We also stock a nice selection of Pepprboxes, Palm Pistols, Knuckle Dusters and quite few Firearm Curiousa. Our long guns include a selection of snipers of all nations, Paratrooper Carbines, Alpine Carbines, Johnsons, and Trench Guns, and a Luftwaffe Drilling. and several Civil War carbines as well as percussion hanguns.
Since we are licensed in two states we are able to do Firearms transfers for guns ordered elsewhere. As for new guns we have sources for all new guns at greatly discounted prices. We also perform appraisals for insurance purposes, divorces or legal and estate requirements
We are open Tuesday and Wednesday 10:00 to 6:00, Thursday and Friday 10:00 to 8:00, Saturday 10:00 to 6:00, and Sunday 10:00 to 5:00. We're also open by appointment
The main inventory is located at the Sloatsburg Store. the address is 160 Orange Tpke. also known as Route 17. Sloatsburg is located north of suffern, NY and south Of Tuxedo ,NY or Take exit 15A, follow the signs to Sloatsburg for 3.3 miles. We are on the right witha sign that simply say "GUNS"
