The Crimson Trace laser grips for 1911 Officer's Compact models offer the same rugged durability as the laser grips for full-size 1911 pistols. Model LG-304 laser grips feature dual side-mounted activation switches, which allow the shooter to turn the laser on from either side of the grip without altering his hold on the pistol.

The Crimson Trace model LG-304 laser grip fits Officer's Compact 1911 pistols from Auto-Ordnance, Les Baer, Colt, KImber, Olympic Arms, Para-Ordance (some, not all, models), Sig Sauer, Springfield Armory, and other makers. Pistols with ambidextrous safeties will require a shortened right-side safety lever, which is available from Crimson Trace.

(Note: the terms "full size" or "Commander size" refer to 1911 pistols with a full-size grip frame with a magazine that holds seven or eight rounds. The term "Officers's model" refers to 1911 compact pistols or ultra-compacts that have a shorter grip frame, with magazines that hold six rounds.)
