Crimson Trace Laser Grip Beretta Tomcat

LIST PRICE: $289.95

OUR PRICE: $221.95 including shipping

The Crimson Trace laser grips for Beretta Tomcat pistols are especially suited for pocket carry. Hard polymer grip panels prevent snagging when drawing from inside clothing.

The laser diode housing is smaller than those for larger pistols, yet still delivers the same laser beam intensity. The switch for the Beretta Tomcat grips is activated by the ring finger of the right hand. A small indentation in the grip allows left-handed shooters to access the switch as well.

(Please note that this model of Crimson Trace laser grip does not fit the Beretta Tomcat Stainless Inox model).

LG-490: Beretta Tomcat fit issues

As of January 2010, Beretta has made an in-line change to the 3032 Tomcat’s slide width. The new Tomcat 3032 now features either a stainless (INOX) finish or a new black (carbon steel with blued, black oxide) matte finish on a “wide” slide. As such, the LG-490 will not accommodate the new “wide” slide Beretta 3032 Tomcats. Please note that the LG-490 will, as always, will fit the Beretta Bobcat 21 (chambered in either .22 and .25)

Here are ways to distinguish between the new Tomcats and the older models:
1. Check the label on the side of the Beretta Tomcat gun case for a product code. The product code is not listed on the firearm. Note: both the black and stainless models are simply marked “3032 Tomcat.” There are no other distinguishing marks to be found on the Tomcat.
   a. The old product Tomcat product code is “J320104.” An old Tomcat with a blued slide will still fit an LG-490; the stainless (INOX) slide will not.
   b. The new (wide slide) product code reads “J320115;” LG-490 will not fit either.
2. If you don't have the original box, do you know when your Tomcat was manufactured? When did you buy it?
   a. If purchased in 2010, chances are greater that they have a wide slide.
3. If you don't know if you have a wide slide version, you'll need to get a ruler and measure:
   a. Check and double check that the firearm is unloaded. Then check again.
   b. The easiest way to measure is to tip the barrel back and measure the width of the slide (the widest point of the slide).
   c. Old Tomcat measures 7/8” (clearly less than one inch)
   d. New Tomcat measures 1 1/16” (clearly more than one inch)
4. The wide slide has a clearance cut out found on the right side of the slide (where an ejection port would typically be found).
