Here's the first Marlin lever action to offer the proven deer-getting power of the 30/30 cartridge in a compact format, ideal as a woods gun and equally suited to the younger or smaller-statured hunter. Only 34" in length, featuring a 16.5" Micro-Groove®-rifled barrel, it weighs just 6.5 pounds. And the 336Y SpikeHorn features a short (12.5" length of pull) American black walnut pistol grip stock with flutted comb and cut checkering. Sights include an adjustable semi-buckhorn folding rear, and ramp front sight with brass bead and Wide-Scan™ hood. The solid-top receiver is tapped for a scope mount, and the SpikeHorn comes complete with offset, right or left hand, hammer spur for scope mount use.
