REMINGTON MODEL 11-87 DALE EARNHARDT TRIBUTE
In 2003 Remington® recognized a true friend and outdoorsman, Dale Earnhardt, with the introduction of a limited edition Model 11-87 Premier Dale Earnhardt Tribute 12 gauge shotgun. The second offering in a four-year limited edition series, the Model 11-87 Premier Dale Earnhardt Tribute 20-gauge shotgun continues this commemorative series for 2004. Earnhardt’s love of the shooting sports and his achievements in the world of NASCAR racing are captured on this special edition Model 11-87 Premier and as a gesture of respect, Remington will donate a portion of each sale generated from this shotgun to the Dale Earnhardt Foundation. This charitable foundation supports wildlife initiatives and children’s educational programs, two of Earnhardt’s favorite causes. This 20 gauge, autoloading Model 11-87 Premier features a 28-inch, light contour Rem™ Choke vent rib barrel and American walnut stock and fore-end with high gloss finish and cut checkering. Engraved on the polished blue, highly embellished receiver is Earnhardt’s likeness, his signature and scrollwork on the left side with a "7 Time Winston Cup Champion" tributary banner on the right side. The signature and banner are inlayed in 24 karat gold. Serial numbers on this commemorative Model 11-87, which will only be available in limited quantities in 2004, will start with "DE3".
