REMINGTON MODEL 11-87 PREMIER SUPER MAGNUM
With its introduction last year, the Model 11-87 Super Magnum™ offered hunters the most versatile autoloading shotgun ever designed. Now with the addition of the Model 11-87 Premier Super Magnum, there is a member of the 11-87 Super Magnum family to meet virtually every hunting situation or personal preference. Capable of handling 12 gauge 3 1/2 inch and 3 inch magnum shells and most 2 3/4 inch shells interchangeably, the Model 11-87 Super Magnums provide long range, high power with the comfort of gas compensated recoil reduction. The versatility of the Model 11-87™ Super Magnum™ results from the unique metering system of its gas-operated action. With 2 3/4" field loads, an integral pressure relief valve remains closed, utilizing all of the shell’s pressure to operate the action. When heavier or longer shells are used, the valve opens proportionately to release the extra, unneeded pressure — retaining the right amount to operate the action. This not only assures reliable handling of all shell lengths, but prevents excessive bolt velocity that could increase wear. This is the same system that hunters have been using for the past thirteen years on the 11-87™, and has proven to be the softest-shooting and most durable autoloading shotgun action ever designed. * Versatile gas compensated 12-gauge autoloader
