REMINGTON MODEL 870 SPS 20-GAUGE DEER GUN
With the impressive performance of newer, high performance 20-gauge slug loads, like the Remington® Buckhammer™, deer hunters now have the option of taking lower-recoiling, lightweight 20-gauge shotguns into the woods. To help maximize the potential of these new shotshell loads Remington developed the Model 870 SPS 20-Gauge Deer Gun—a highly specialized, ultra-light, quick-handling slug gun. Like all of the Special Purpose shotguns, the Model 870 SPS 20-Gauge Deer shotgun features a weather defying, black synthetic stock and fore-end equipped with sling studs, swivels, a black nylon sling, and the revolutionary, recoil reducing R3™ recoil pad. Capable of handling 3-inch magnum slug loads, the fast-swinging, fully-rifled 18 1/2-inch barrel provides rifle-like accuracy when matched with Remington's devastating Premier® Core-Lokt® Ultra Bonded Sabot Slugs or our explosive Buckhammer lead slugs. Remington's rock-solid cantilever scope mount system won't lose it zero like other mounts and accepts Weaver-style rings. Click here to visit Gunshopfinder's Remington shotgun page.
