SMITH AND WESSON MODEL 617 REVOLVER

The Smith and Wesson model 617 is a full-size, full weight .22 target revolver. It's a great choice for target shooting, or just for practicing with inexpensive .22 ammunition with the equivalent of your full size, full caliber revolver. The 617 is constructed entirely of stainless steel, and has a matte finish. At 45 ounces, it's certainly not going to be anyone's choice for a carry gun, but will prove itself at the range.

The full underlug 6" barrel gives the 617 exceptional balance. The Hogue rubber grips have finger grooves for a positive hold on the gun, and the rubber is soft enough for comfort, but not so soft as to let your hands move when holding it.

The 617 features an adjustable black rear target sight, and a pinned partridge-style front sight blade. The trigger is a smooth target style, as is the hammer.
