SPRINGFIELD ARMORY LOADED M1A RIFLE, EXTENDED CLUSTER RAIL COMPOSITE STOCK, STAINLESS BARREL

This Springfield Armory Loaded M1A rifle features a cluster rail composite stock for mounting lights,sights, foregrips, and other accessories. It's similar in this respect to the SOCOM M1A models, but with National Match features.

Among the National Match features included on this rifle are the front and rear National Match sights. The rear sight has 1/2 MOA adjustments rather than the starndard 1 MOA. It's not hooded as the rear sights are on the National Match models, though.

It also has a stainless air-gauged National Match barrel. What's "air-gauged"? Air gauging involves inserting a proble into a barrel to detect the variances in diameter in the barrel. One that is referred to as "air-gauged" meets tighter tolerances than do standard barrels.

You get all of these National Match features at a price that's not much more than a standard M1A.

The first time you pick up an M1A, you'll be struck by its weight. For those who are used to handling rifles with forged or stamped receivers, the M1A comes as almost a shock. It has a receiver that's investment cast steel. Tolerances between the receiver, bolt, activation rod, and other parts is tight, which is one reason for the M1A's superb accuracy. It's a rifle that will last for decades, and go tens of thousands of rounds without showing signs of wear.
