SPRINGFIELD ARMORY LOADED 9 MM STAINLESS 1911 PISTOL, ADJUSTABLE TARGET SIGHTS

Springfield Armory Loaded stainless 1911, chambered in 9mm, with adjustable target sights

This is one of the most popular 1911 pistols in the Springfield Armory line. It's chambered for 9 mm, but is still a "true" 1911 in every respect. The stainless slide has front and rear serrations for more efficient cycling of the action. The ambidextrous safety makes the pistol easy for leftie's to use. It has adjustable target sights for fast yet precise shooting.

The rounded parts of the pistol have been bead-blasted, while the flats are shiny stainless, giving the pistol a distinctive look. The Cocobolo grips give it an even more striking appearance.

The skeletonized trigger is adjustable for overtravel. As with all Springfield Armory 1911 pistols, this one has a barrel bushing that is easily removed with a supplied wrench for field stripping.

The adjustable sights are made by Novak, and are considered to be some of the best on the market. The rear notch and front sight blade align with just enough "air" around the sight picture to let you know that your sight blade is centered. Once adjusted, they stay adjusted, even after thousands of rounds.

All of these features come standard on this 1911, and at a very attractive price.

Springfield Armory 9mm Stainless 1911 Reviews:

"I've always preferred 9mm over .45 so I was really happy to find that Springfield was making a 1911 in 9 mm. I bought this gun new and it's been a good shooter. I wasn't happy with the trigger because it was heavier than six pounds so I sent it to Springfield and they turned it around in a little over a week. Now it's one of the best shooting guns I have. Folks say I should buy Kimber. Bah!"

"It's a great platform, and economical to shoot.. I use one for IDPA and couldn't ask for a nicer "Out-of-the-Box" 9mm for that purpose."
