SPRINGFIELD ARMORY SUPER MATCH M1A RIFLE, MCMILLAN MARINE CORPS CAMO COMPOSITE STOCK, DOUGLAS STAINLESS STEEL BARREL
The Springfield Armory Super Match M1A is the company's top of the line rifle. This one is made to closely resemble the M14 camouflage rifles used by the Marine Corps.
It features Springfield Armory's proprietary-designed rear lugged receiver, along with a national match barrel, custom oversized operating rod guide, and more.
The barrel is a Douglas stanless steel, and has been air gauged to assure a precise bore diameter from chamber to muzzle crown.
The stock was designed by the late Gale McMillan, and has the Marine Corps camouflage pattern. It's wider and flatter at the fore grip, giving you a more stable shooting platform when using sand bags or other rests.
The sights are National Match style, with the rear sight having half minute of angle ("MOA") adjustments, and a hood over the aperture to protect it from damage, as well as to shield the aperture from sunlight or reflections that would reduce the contrast of the sight picture.
The front sight is National Match as well, with a .062" sight blade for precise aiming.
When it comes to M14 style rifles, they don't come any better than this.
Caliber: 7.62mm NATO (.308 Win.)
