The Taurus model 851B2 851121 revolver is ideal for all types of carry. At 25 ounces, it's light enough to carry all day comfortably. The shrouded hammer keeps the gun from being accidentally cocked, but still allows you to cock the hammer for single action fire. The 851B2 is chambered in .38 Special, and is capable of handling +P loads.

Like all Taurus 850 series revolvers, it features a transfer bar for safety, plus it has the Taurus Security System integral lock that allows you to lock the revolver with a key. When locked, the trigger cannot be pulled.
