The Taurus model 851B2UL 851121UL revolver is made for comfort. Weighing just 16.8 ounces, it's one of the lightest .38 revolvers on the market. The Ultralite alloy frame is sturdy, yet keeps weight to a minimum. The shrouded hammer keeps the gun from being accidentally cocked, but still allows you to cock the hammer for single action fire. The 851B2 is chambered in .38 Special, and is capable of handling +P loads.

Like all Taurus 850 series revolvers, it features a transfer bar for safety, plus it has the Taurus Security System integral lock that allows you to lock the revolver with a key. When locked, the trigger cannot be pulled.
